Recent B.A. Geography graduate (minor in Geology) from the University of Colorado Boulder, seeking an entry-level GIS, remote sensing, or environmental analyst role. Experienced in QGIS, satellite imagery analysis (Landsat), NDVI/NDSI, land-cover classification, and change detection. Completed a roughly 37-year Landsat change-detection analysis of Columbia Glacier retreat and a research project on ecological succession after glacial retreat at Kenai Fjords/Exit Glacier. Built ArcGIS StoryMaps; familiar with ArcGIS Pro. Previously supported a GIS mapping course and helped students learn QGIS, and completed UAS (drone) Earth Observation training. Comfortable with spatial analysis, data QA, workflow documentation, technical reports, and project tracking with Gantt charts. Strong communication and training skills from customer-facing work. Authorized to work in the U.S.; based in San Diego and open to relocation and/or remote work.
