Salary: This permanent, part-time vacancy is a 0.5 FTE position with a pro-rated monthly salary of $2,967.95 - $3,607.55 plus benefits. The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $5,935.91 to $7,215.11 monthly.

Job Summary: To perform the more routine manual and computerized geographic information processing tasks assigned; utilize geographic information system (GIS) technology to perform a variety of functions in the office and field including operating and maintaining the GIS system, developing and maintaining digital base maps, modification and analysis of data, map creation, and providing GIS services to staff and supporting system users.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in geography, urban planning, computer science or closely related field with emphasis in geographic information systems (GIS) and two years of responsible GIS experience including editing, cartographic or project-based GIS work.
License: Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
