Imaging Technician I

The Imaging Technician I performs digital ortho photography processing, graphics, and quality control. Prepares orthophoto images from aerial photographs, survey data, and compilation data.
Prepares orthophoto images from aerial photographs, survey data, and compilation data using PC based hardware and software platforms.
Archives digital data.
Performs quality assurance checks on orthophotos for accuracy.
Assists in the development of production tools for data conversion and image processing.
Assists in the development and implementation of target GIS software platform QA/QC tools.
Assists in creating project work instructions and instructing/delivering production coordinator.
Assists with modifying and updating conversion software tools to reflect approved changes in scope.
Assists with auditing and modifying conversion software to increase production team productivity.
Provides assistance with miscellaneous project organization and tracking tasks.
Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or Associate’s degree, or certificate in relevant course of study, or the equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in GIS software tools, GoogleEarth, Photoshop, Windows.
