SENIOR GIS TECHNICIAN

Salary Dependent on Experience $45,900.00 - $66,600.00
Osceola County Property Appraiser’s Office, Kissimmee, Florida.

Function:

An advanced onsite technical position requiring thorough knowledge of all available tools and applications to add, maintain, update, and analyze the GIS database.

The minimum qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Two-year college degree in a related field or technical course(s) with two years’ experience in a CAD/GIS network environment, cadastral mapping, and/or survey design principles and techniques may be substituted for education.

• Any educational programs, certifications or professional designations with - URISA, IAAO, FACM, MICROSOFT; etc. related to GIS, CAD, or job-specific tasks is a plus.

• A comparable amount of training and experience maybe substituted for the minimum qualifications.

• Must possess, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in verbal and written form.
