I am a highly skilled GIS professional with 30 years experience in data presentation and spatial
analysis, using conventional database management tools as well as sophisticated spatial
management tools.
My experience covers a range of relational database management systems from desktop
solutions (MS-Access, dBase) to corporate SQL-Server, MySQL and PostGIS database servers.
I have experience in a wide range of GIS and CAD software, including Open Source and Web
Based systems and have applied my knowledge in fields ranging from Engineering, Forestry,
Town Planning, Environmental services, Transport planning, Water and Sanitation.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree at University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, and have been
involved in the GIS industry since 1990. I am registered with SAGC as a Professional GISc
Practitioner (PGP1270).
I have worked extensively in South Africa, in Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Eastern Cape, as well as
internationally in the United Kingdom.
