Profession GNSS/RS/GIS & Urban Design Expert
Current Organization PULSE (PIU), Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA)

Driven by a deep passion for Geodesy, GNSS, and Earth Observation technologies, I am Muhammad Rahat Jamil, a dedicated geospatial expert and researcher
with over five years of specialized experience in satellite navigation, remote sensing, and spatial data science. My expertise bridges the domains of GNSS data
processing, orbit modeling, and geospatial analysis, enabling the integration of satellite-derived measurements with ground-based observations for accurate
Earth system monitoring and infrastructure assessment.

My professional journey began with a strong commitment to harnessing spaceborne and geospatial technologies for sustainable development and
environmental resilience. From developing precise geodetic models to monitoring agricultural dynamics and urban deformation, I have applied advanced
analytical techniques to support evidence-based decision-making and resource optimization.

In my current role as Geodetic Consultant at PULSE (Pakistan Urban Land Systems Enhancement Project), I provided technical services for the design,
implementation, and quality assurance of national and provincial geodetic and GNSS-based land information systems. My scope of services included
establishment and validation of geodetic control networks, GNSS field calibration (static, RTK, and CORS/NRTK), spatial accuracy assessment, and
enforcement of geodetic standards across large-scale urban land, cadastral, and infrastructure mapping programs. I was responsible for reviewing survey
methodologies, verifying coordinate reference systems and datum realizations, integrating multi-source spatial datasets, and supporting high-precision
applications such as land surveys, land cadastral mapping, thereby strengthening geodetic consistency, spatial integrity, and land governance frameworks under
World Bank–funded initiatives.

Complementing my professional work, my doctoral research (withdrawn due to corona) in Astronautics at Beihang University, China, focuses on GNSS signal
processing, orbit dynamics, and geodetic data fusion with remote sensing observations. My research and publications in urban climate and satellite-based
environmental analysis reflect my commitment to scientific advancement and innovation in geospatial science. Motivated by precision, curiosity, and continuous
learning, I aim to contribute to global efforts in satellite geodesy, GNSS-based positioning, and Earth observation applications that enhance sustainability and
technological excellence.
