Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage a staff of GIS Analysts and oversee production of GIS documents, graphics, reports and other data
• Plan, create, and oversee projects as needed by internal departments, including Legal and Administration, as well as external customers, such as land developers and the general public
• Maintain several GIS databases, some of which are sensitive and/or critical to government function
• Attend meetings/act as a liaison between Charlotte County and Federal, State, and Municipal authorities

Recent Achievements:
• 2019, Successfully completed the Charlotte County Leadership Development Program (inaugural class), the graduating requirement of which was giving an oral presentation to Senior Administration staff
• 2019, won all 50 appeals to the U.S. Census Bureau for addresses which were initially rejected from the over 1,000 updates I submitted during their Local Update of Census Addresses (LUCA) program
• 2019, created a public web mapping application (to date maintaining a 3,000+ per month hit rating) to show upcoming changes to FEMA flood zone data that included a first-of-its-kind data layer no other county in Florida had attempted to create
• 2018, was instrumental in drafting an award-winning submission for the National Association of Counties (NACo) awards program for work on the county’s GIS Storm Event Damage Assessment program

Charlotte County Government (Port Charlotte, Florida) June 2007 to April 2016

• Acted as team lead GIS Analyst, researching data, creating maps, reports, and other items as needed and assisted team members with same
