EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

GIS Analyst
March 2016 – July 2017
911 Datamaster Inc., Overland Park, KS (worked remotely from home)
I assessed and corrected Government/911 Agencies' data through company software and analytical procedures. The data I edited included street centerlines, address points, ESNs, Fire, Law, EMS, and PSAP response boundaries. I also compared Master Street Addressing Guide (MSAG) and Automatic Location Identification (ALI) databases to the GIS databases. I assisted in the software documentation and training of the company's documentation team as well.

GIS Specialist
October 2013 – March 2016
Ellis County, Department of Engineering, Waxahachie, TX
I served as the GIS and Addressing Coordinator for the county. My work involved correcting, updating, and reorganizing the County’s GIS Database. New feature classes I created included City Limits, MSAG Community, ESD, Fire/Law/EMS Response Boundaries, and County Roads Inventory. I also administered the county’s 9-1-1 GIS database, providing corrections and updates to NCTCOG for call dispatch. I provided GIS training to staff in the Planning and Development Department and introduced them to a SDE versioning database and new improved workflows. Lastly, I served as a point of contact regarding GIS and addressing between the cities, postmasters, NCTCOG, the appraisal district and the state.

9-1-1 GIS Specialist / GIS Analyst
September 2010 – October 2013
Contact One Inc., Austin, TX / Intrado Inc., Austin, TX
I edited Government/911 Agencies' GIS data to ensure accuracy by validating street centerline layers, structure layers, PSAP layers, ESN layers, and other response boundary polygon layers to reduce response times. I compared the GIS database to the Master Street Addressing Guide (MSAG) and Automatic Location Identification (ALI) databases. I also provide GIS and MapSAG installations, training, and support to internal staff and customers.

GIS Technician
June 2009 - September 2010
City of Austin, Watershed Protection Department, Austin TX
GIS database creation for the Critical Environmental Features (CEFs) in the Austin area. I used buffer analysis, digitizing, and georeferencing to map CEFs from subdivision plats, site plans, GPS, and other resources.

GIS Intern
January 2007 - April 2007
New Braunfels Utilities, New Braunfels, TX
I worked in the water engineering department of the company, assisting the engineering technicians. My work included data clean up, digitizing, and data entry of GIS data involving the water lines across New Braunfels.
