The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for GIS Coordinator in the IT Department. Incumbent develops, organizes & directs the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) activities including providing technical expertise & supervision for the day-to-day implementation & operation of the GIS activities, managing GIS vendor contracts, planning & organizing system development activities. Must possess 4 yr degree in GIS, geography, computer science, planning, engineering, or related fields, & 3-5 yrs technical exp w/geographic information system design, implementation, & mgmt, including considerable exp in both administrative & project supervision. Advanced exp in GIS software & application development in Python, ModelBuilder, ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server Pro, SQL Server & Microsoft Access required. Ability to read & map legal descriptions required. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license & a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier. GISP pref w/exp in local government GIS setting highly recommended. Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, GeoEvent Server, Nearmap, Crystal Reports, AVL/GPS, Cityworks AMS and/or PLL implementations preferred. Knowledge of MIS and system integration with external applications such as work order management, permitting and building inspection, CAD/RMS and crime analysis a plus. Familiarity with CentralSquare back-end database a plus. Starting Salary: $70,745-$74,908/YR. w/benefits. Apply at the City of Midwest City, HR Dept., 100 N.
