Sr. Construction Operations Analyst (Store Development)

Summary:

The Construction Operations Analyst is part of the Store Development department. The position is an integral part of the Construction team and will collect and analyze data according to a series of useful variables. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable with gleaning actionable information from performing multi-dataset analyses.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing the company with accurate information to support operations and strategic planning. These responsibilities fall into three specific categories:

Construction Estimating
• Prepares construction estimates and identifies potential construction difficulties projecting costs for each elevation
• Continues to evaluate estimates by costing changes, additions, and site requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Construction Scheduling
• Oversee project scheduling process from bidding to close out
• Assist with the development and management of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual project schedule reporting

Construction Analysis
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics
• Up to five years analytics related experience or equivalent required
• Proficiencies with other more advanced analytical software preferred (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of Office 365 tools such as Planner, Power Apps and Forms a major plus
• Expert or advanced Excel and MS Project skills required
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong procedure development and implementation skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet constant deadlines
• Ability to generate bold, creative ideas to improve processes and performance
• Effective communication skills (written & verbal) essential
• Ability to succeed within a team environment
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
• Demonstrated attention-to-detail is critical
• Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential
• Must be effective with conflict resolution
• Ability to handle stressful situations
