CAGIS - Computer Systems Analyst
Cincinnati, OH, USA
The position will provide excellent technical, analytical and software development support in various CAGIS enterprise programs including Permitting Business and reporting software. The position duties encompass skills and technical expertise in multiple areas including enterprise software configuration, software development and user support using various software tools. The individual will also develop new solutions, reports, scripts, performance metrics, etc. along with providing application administration and support to internal and external customers.
Duties for this position include:
Participate in team development activities.
Deploy, test, maintain and support CAGIS Permitting business software system solutions and applications according to the guidelines of the team.
Translate business process documentation into functional requirements for systems design.
Report status of CAGIS systems, applications and development projects on a routine basis.
Manage workload with little supervision, create and maintain project work plans as well as simultaneously work on multiple projects,
Research leading and emerging trends to stay current with various technologies used by CAGIS.
Provide responsive support and participate in groups to solve problems discovered during testing or in production.
The Preferred Candidate will have knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Technical support, development, configuration, implementation and maintenance of enterprise software applications.
Experience with scripting languages like SQL.
Business Process analysis and implementation.
Database integration and browser-based applications.
Reports development with tools like crystal reports.
The Preferred Candidate will demonstrate skills and/or abilities in the following areas:
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Great oral and written communications.
Highly motivated and passion for customer service and solving problems.
Strong understanding of IT Service Management.
Ability to quickly understand and apply the concepts of IT Service Management.
Ability to work effectively with diverse customer and colleague groups.
Experience managing and supporting large support applications.
Familiarity with project management principles.
