The City of Puyallup is seeking a GIS professional to join our Information Technology team! The priority application date is May 12th. We anticipate interviews to occur the week of May 19th.

The successful candidate will perform technical geographic information system work for the City under the general direction of the Information Technology Director. The incumbent performs a full range of GIS administration, development and application tasks, including GIS data and mapping standards within the city; administering GIS enterprise databases, integrating GIS data into 3rd party software, and serving as the City lead for the creation of authoritative data, maps and applications.

$82,864 - $106,046 annual salary. The City offers an excellent benefits program, city paid leave and holidays, State retirement program and optional deferred compensation.

Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Planning, Geography, Environmental Studies, Engineering (or related) and two years of GIS work experience; or an Associate's degree plus certification from a GIS program and four years of GIS work experience; or a combination of education, experience, and training that indicates the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position listed above.
